These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the WeAreToys online store. By placing an order on our website, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms is intended to limit any rights you may have under applicable South African consumer law.
Products and Pricing
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, videos, prices and availability displayed on our website are accurate. Colours and appearance may vary slightly from the images shown.
Prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR). We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing or product-information errors before an order is completed.
Orders and Payments
Orders are subject to product availability and successful payment. An order will be processed once payment has been successfully confirmed.
Payments are processed securely through our authorised payment service provider. WeAreToys does not intentionally store customers’ complete bank-card details on our website.
Delivery
We deliver to eligible areas within South Africa. Delivery charges may vary according to the customer’s delivery location and will be communicated or displayed during checkout where applicable.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and contact details.
Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including courier delays.
Returns and Change-of-Mind Purchases
Where a customer wishes to return a product simply because they have changed their mind, WeAreToys may accept the return subject to our return conditions and applicable law.
The product should be unused, in a resalable condition and, where reasonably possible, returned with its original packaging and accessories.
Reasonable return, delivery, collection or handling costs may apply to change-of-mind returns where permitted by law. Any applicable charge will be communicated to the customer before the return is processed.
This does not affect a customer’s statutory rights relating to defective, unsafe, incorrectly supplied or misrepresented goods.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
If you receive a product that is defective, damaged on delivery, unsafe or different from what was ordered, please contact WeAreToys as soon as reasonably possible.
We will assess the matter and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable South African consumer law. Depending on the circumstances and applicable legal requirements, this may include repair, replacement or refund.
Customers will not be charged a return penalty where doing so would unlawfully limit their consumer rights.
Toy Guarantees and Warranties
Unless expressly stated on the relevant product, WeAreToys does not provide an additional voluntary or extended warranty beyond warranties or guarantees required by applicable law or provided by the manufacturer.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits any warranty, guarantee or other consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, unauthorised alterations, normal wear and tear, or use contrary to the product instructions may not qualify as a product defect, subject to applicable law.
Cancellations
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. If the order has already been dispatched, cancellation or return arrangements and reasonable associated costs may apply, subject to applicable law.
Product Safety
Children should use toys according to the manufacturer’s recommended age guidelines and safety instructions. Where adult supervision is recommended, customers should ensure appropriate supervision.
Privacy
Personal information provided to WeAreToys is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable South African privacy laws.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version published on our website will apply to purchases made while that version is in effect, subject to applicable law.
