WeAreToys Refund and Returns Policy
At WeAreToys, we want our customers to be happy with their purchases. This policy is intended to provide a fair process for returns, exchanges and refunds while respecting your rights under applicable South African consumer law.
Returns
If you wish to return an item because you have changed your mind, please contact us as soon as possible. Eligible items must be unused, in their original condition, and where reasonably applicable, returned with their original packaging and accessories.
Any rights you may have under applicable consumer law, including rights relating to certain online purchases, remain unaffected by this policy.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order when you receive it. If an item is faulty, damaged, defective, or you received the incorrect product, please contact WeAreToys as soon as reasonably possible.
Where required by applicable South African consumer law, customers may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit those statutory rights.
Toys and Electronic/Battery-Operated Products
We do not provide additional guarantees beyond any warranty or rights required by applicable law or expressly provided with the product. This does not affect a customer’s rights regarding defective, unsafe or unsuitable goods under applicable consumer law.
Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidental damage, incorrect batteries, improper charging, unauthorised alterations, or normal wear and tear may not qualify as a product defect.
Refunds
Once an eligible returned item has been received and assessed, we will advise you of the outcome. Approved refunds will be processed using the appropriate payment method.
We do not automatically deduct 30% from every refund. However, where permitted by law, reasonable charges may apply in circumstances where goods have been used, damaged, are missing parts, or require restoration before resale. Any applicable charge will depend on the circumstances and will not override a customer’s statutory rights.
Return Delivery Costs
Responsibility for return delivery costs will depend on the reason for the return. Where goods are defective, incorrect or otherwise required to be returned at the supplier’s risk under applicable law, WeAreToys will handle the matter in accordance with those legal requirements.
